Sample teardowns & what we look for.

We’re a young firm building our first public case studies. Rather than dress up numbers we can’t yet show, here’s how we diagnose a business — using anonymised, illustrative examples that mirror real teardowns.

Note: The examples below are clearly-labelled illustrative samples built to show our diagnostic method. They are not real named-client results. As live engagements complete, we'll replace these with permissioned case studies.
Sample · Aesthetic clinic

"The category loves us. The credit goes elsewhere."

A premium clinic was cited often for “best aesthetic clinic” category queries — but rarely by its own name, and the engines’ top source was a third-party directory the clinic didn’t control. The teardown showed the gap between strong category presence and weak owned-entity presence.

Sample · Multi-location restaurant

Same brand, five different stories.

Across five locations, AI engines returned inconsistent hours, menus and even spellings — because the underlying listings disagreed. The teardown mapped exactly where each engine pulled wrong facts, and which source needed fixing first.

Sample · Local physiotherapy

Invisible to the question that matters.

The practice ranked fine on classic Google, but was absent from AI answers to “physio near me for [condition]” — the exact high-intent question patients now ask ChatGPT. The teardown isolated the content and schema gaps behind the absence.

Sample · Premium retail brand

Strong on Google. Quiet on AI.

A well-reviewed boutique brand had years of SEO equity but almost no presence in AI Overviews, where its competitors were already being named. The teardown showed which signals the engines were rewarding — and which the brand was missing.

What's in a teardown

Every sample above started the same way.

A teardown is a structured diagnosis, not a sales pitch with a chart on top. Here’s what we actually look at before we say a word about working together.

🔎

AI citation check

How often you’re named across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI for your category and your brand — and who gets named instead.

Accuracy audit

Whether the facts engines repeat about you — hours, services, location — are actually right, or quietly costing you customers.
🔗

Source mapping

Which sources the engines trust when describing you, and whether you control them or a third-party directory does.
📊

Competitor view

How your AI and local presence stacks up against the businesses you compete with for the same customers.
📍

Local search snapshot

Maps visibility, “near me” rankings and profile health — the classic signals that still drive the call.

Priority plan

A short, plain-language list of what to fix first for the biggest visibility gain. Yours to keep, pitch or not.
